This a long desk pen, suitable for use in pen stands, with the top cut into a carved spiral shape. The point cone unscrews for refilling with a Cross-type refill. I carve each one by hand and there is great variation in the resulting design. The piece shown is in cocobolo wood. Available in most of the natural and dyed woods.

#005 Dip Pen  $28

This is a long turned traditional nib pen. You dip it into ink and write. It is usually used these days for calligraphy work. It uses nibs that are widely available at art supply stores and are easy to interchange by pulling the nib out. It takes Speedball and Brause type nibs, among others. It features a small center hole so you can use the smaller size "crowquill" nibs as well. The piece shown is in bloodwood. Available in most of the natural and dyed woods.
